Let me introduce myself

I have found over the years that my friends and family have called me for advice about fixing a computer problems, to setting up home theaters, to recommending the latest mp3 player. I enjoy learning about technical gadgets and understanding how things work. My passion is to know bleeding edge technology and how to bring healing to those bleeding from technology. I enjoy helping people learn about technology.

I got into computers and technology during college when I had to make a decision about what I was to do with the rest of my life. In college I was the guy that could fix your computer or tutor you in a programming language. I graduated with a degree in mangement information systems in 1993. Since then I have been a system adminstrator, programmer, independent systems consultant, and project manager for technology departments. I have been fortunate to have jobs that allow me to learn about technology and get paid for it.

I plan to use this blog as an area to write about questions or advice that people ask me. I hope to keep this area updated on a regular basis.
